Paro Valley Lodge

Stone, pine and the Tiger's Nest in the window.

Placeholder stay. The name and details stand in for a partner property to be confirmed.

A lodge of local stone and timber set among the blue pines above the valley floor, where every suite faces the cliff that holds Taktsang. Mornings begin with the sound of the river and the first light on the monastery.

Interiors borrow from the farmhouse: rammed-earth walls, hand-woven textiles, a bukhari stove laid each evening. The spa works with hot stone baths and Bhutanese herbs, and the kitchen with the farms you can see from your terrace.

We use it as the opening and closing chapter of lodge-circuit journeys, with the Taktsang walk planned for your final morning.
